Anastasia Vasilius was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. She moved to Seattle from Arizona in 2012. Anastasia has a degree in Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics from Moscow State University, and an MBA Degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Professionally, Anastasia started her career in the Data Analysis department of a market research company, and after three years transferred to process analysis, risk management and internal audit. Anastasia worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte in different roles both in Russia and the US. Before her MBA degree, Anastasia was the Internal Control Director of a large international industrial company in Russia. In this role, she helped other departments to be more efficient, follow best practices and ensure accurate reliable financial & managerial reporting. Currently, Anastasia stays at home with her two kids, but plans to transition her career into the non-profit sector. Anastasia has been involved with non-profit organizations as a volunteer and a Board member. She is currently on the Board of two family foundations. Anastasia graduated from the Non-Profit Management certificate program at the University of Washington in May 2019. Anastasia enjoys skiing, traveling and cooking.
