Jodi grew up in a small town in British Columbia, Canada.  In 1991 she moved to Vancouver for college where she studied tourism marketing.  After graduating from college, Jodi started working for Scotiabank.  While working, she got her financial planner designation and became a financial advisor for 9 years.  In 2002 Jody had her son, then in 2005 her daughter. After having her kids, she has focused on volunteering, and for the last 20 years has been active from preschool to high school with PTAs as well as managing several youth soccer teams, Lakes HOA board (for 7 years), NLYM, the MI Parks Commission for the past 5 years and Solid Ground through their program called Cooking Matters.  Jodi moved to Mercer Island in 2009 and jumped in with both feet.  She loves cooking and anything food related, including having a food blog called jodistuffilove.  Jodi has also loved working at Island Treats for the past several years.
