Pitch Your Peers, Inc. Launches New Collaborative Giving Concept for Greenwich

Pitch Your Peers, Inc. (PYP), an innovative new organization focused on hyper-local philanthropy, held their launch event Thursday, February 25th, at Putnam & Vine Wine and Spirits, just off Greenwich Avenue.

According to founder Nina Lindia, “To date, thirty-five women have accepted an invitation to join PYP to fund a transformative grant to give to one local Greenwich charity. PYP differs from other grant-funding organizations in that it has no external Request for Proposal (RFP) process. Rather, members whose $1,000 annual dues fund the $25,000 grant, pitch and educate their peers on deserving local causes and charities about which they are passionate. The entire membership evaluates the proposed recipients and votes to award the once annual grant.”
